By living the transhumance with shepherds, the milking of sheeps and the secrets of cheese production, you will discover the fascinating traditions of these skilled cheesemakers of the Pyrenees. Heading towards the interior of the Pyrenees, join the sublime Aspe valley, located in the heart of Béarn. A territory with a strong culture linked to pastoralism, it is also a valley where the brown bear still lives. Between terroir and majestic nature, enjoy these first moments of discovery.

Walk over two days and night on the place of l'Estive in the meadows of altitudes, towards the high peaks. Night in a hut or bivouac near the shepherd's hut, depending on the weather. Milking of the sheep in the early morning and moments of exchange with the shepherd.

Last moments of your stay in the heart of secluded nature. Hiking to the Estaens lake and passing by a shepherd's hut. Return in the early afternoon. Possibility to buy cheese at the farm, cow, sheep or mixed, the choice is yours, after having tasted it!
