Day 1 : Wednesday, December 30: Menton

Welcome at 5 pm at the SNCF station of Menton. We reach our hotel and then installation in the rooms. If you arrive earlier or later, you can go directly to the hotel. First possible walk by the sea.

Accommodation: hotel***. Meals included: dinner. Meals not included: breakfast - lunch.

Day 2 : Thursday, December 31: Gorbio - Roquebrune - Martin Cape - Menton - New Year's Eve

Short bus transfer in the morning. Starting from Gorbio, a small village overlooking Martin Cape, we descend to Roquebrune by the Coupière pass, 468 m. We reach the sea to begin the tour of Martin Cape, via the coastal path of the Corbusier Walk until Menton. Celebrate the New Year with a "Special New Year’s Eve" dinner.

Transfer: bus line. Walking time: 4 hours 30 approx. Positive drop + 150 m. Negative drop: - 470 m. Accommodation: hotel***. Meals included: breakfast - lunch (picnic) - dinner "New Year’s Eve Special".

Day 3 : Friday, January 1st: The Ferrat Cape and the bay of Villefranche sur Mer

Hiking: Tour of the Ferrat Cape by the coastal path and its numerous points. Discovery of the port of Saint Jean Ferrat Cape.

Walking time: about 4 hours. Positive drop: + 110 m. Negative drop: - 110 m.

Heritage (optional): Villa Kerylos in Beaulieu sur Mer. Villa of 1908 built on the model of a Greek residence of antiquity, the Villa Ephrussi de Rotschild. Villa of 1912 inspired by Italian classicism and has large thematic gardens.

Transfers: train. Walking time: about 4 hours. Positive drop: + 110 m. Negative drop: - 110 m. Accommodation: hotel***. Meals included: breakfast - lunch (picnic) - dinner.

Day 4 : Saturday, January 02: Panoramic walk from Castellar to Menton - End of stay

Short bus transfer to the village of Monti, on the heights of Menton. We take the balcony path of the French Riviera to reach the perched village of Castellar. Then follows a nice descent from Castellar to Menton, with always these panoramic views of the Bay of Menton, Martin Cape and the Mediterranean in the background. Descent via the Baousset and the beautiful orthodox cemetery of Menton. End of the stay after the hike, in the early afternoon. Dispersion at Menton train station.
