You will be accommodated in the heart of the village of Aiguilles, a small mountain village with small alleys where many wealth of heritage are hidden. Here, there are still many shops in operation and even a pharmacy! Your guide will lead you gently, to meet local people, wildlife and share his knowledge on snow, on the local history, the crafts, the architecture of the massif; he will teach you the technical basics to enjoy this wonderful winter activity that is snowshoeing.

Appointment on Sunday morning at 9:45 am at the guest rooms and tables "Yak Avenir" in the village of Aiguilles. Welcome and presentation of the stay by your guide then departure for hiking. Along a magnificent frozen torrent, we leave the valley and enter the heart of the reserve. The observation of chamois and ibex is almost certain! It is a privileged moment with wildlife... We will reach the cottages of the Médille, superb viewpoint that offers us an exceptional view of Mount Viso.
Walking time: about 4 hours. Positive drop: + 295 m. Negative drop: - 295 m. Accommodation: Bed and breakfast. Meals included: Lunch - Dinner.

Snowshoeing from the village to reach the pastures along an old mule track. Beautiful crossing in the forest and discovered chalets... By the gentle and sunny slopes, arriving on the crest of the Serre; in a "trapper" atmosphere, magnificent descent into the forest, in the powder, with superb panoramas on the surrounding summits... discovery of the numerous traces of animals that frequent these quiet and wild places.

Small descent to cross the bridge of the Aigue Agnelle; uphill by the pleasant slopes to reach the Col des Prés Fromage and the Bûcher peak. An exceptional viewpoint, many alpine chalets and meals by the fire in the sheepfold of the "Clot l'Henri" compose this rich and unforgettable day! Return to the village and New Year’s Eve party at the hotel where we will start with a lively aperitif in the colours of Queyras; then we will continue with the New Year’s Eve meal with a festive menu, colourful and composed of local products.
