The volcano is the island's must-see stopover. Whether you walk around it from below or access it from above, it's an unmissable excursion. Visit at least one of the three cirques? : Salazie is the easiest to get to if time is short, Cilaos can be done (with a seasoned driver) in one day, and it takes at least two days for Mafate (by spending the night there) or in one day but getting up at dawn. If time is still lacking, at least try to see the panorama from the Mado or the Makes Window. Reunion Island is also home to beautiful beaches, colourful markets and a warm welcome from its inhabitants.

Car rental and lunch on the port of Saint-Pierre. Walk in the streets of the city and then by car in the wild south, on the spice road. Swimming in the'Basin. You can go further and even turn the volcano through the Plains Road (if you do not frighten you). Return and night in the West or south.

Departure early in the morning to Plaine des Cafres, then on the road to the Volcano. Photo break at Commerson Crater, then at Bellecombe. Finally, descent to Formica Leo for the reasonable, ascent of the volcano for the sportsmen. Return to the hotel in the West or South.

Climb up through the Hauts de Saint-Paul to the Orange Tree Canalisation, at Îlet des Orangers, Mafate opens up to you. Dinner and overnight in a mountain cottage. Descent by the Rivière des Galets (shuttles to return to the port, then Saint-Paul).
