An omnipresent nature and a mosaic of cultures, Reunion Island resembles paradise. Saint-Denis will seduce you thanks to the colourful facades of its former Creole houses, the esplanade of Le Barachois, ideal for walks by the sea, and the very pretty state garden with its many species at the large market. The famous piton de la Fournaise is of course worth a visit: volcano still in activity, you need to cross the plain of Les Sables to get there, then you can discover the Dolomieu crater, and finally the last one dug, the Kappor crater.
