Free day to stroll around the Panamanian capital. For history lovers, we suggest a visit to the remains of Panamá La Vieja, which was the country's first capital before being destroyed by the famous pirate Henry Morgan.
It is necessary to leave early in the morning for Corozal station. Travel between canal and jungle on the trans-isthmic train to Colón, on the Atlantic coast. Visit the locks of Gatún, then the castle of San Lorenzo, a former pirate den located at the mouth of the Chagres River
After a morning on the beach, you can visit the remains of the Forts of Santiago and San Jeronimo, the Church of San Felipe which houses the Cristo Nazareno and the Royal Customs building. Discover Portobelo, a small quiet town with ruins listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site
Departure for a day dedicated to meeting the Embera Amerindians.
Drive to the banks of the Chagres River, from where you will take a motorized canoe to one of the villages in the Embera community. On the other side of the river, you will be welcomed by the cacique (spiritual leader) and the children of the village
Day trip in the heart of the Panama Canal and Lake Gatún. Throughout the walk, you will explore the lush nature, between tropical fauna and flora and observe many animals used to the places (toucans, crocodiles, monkeys, lazy...)
Drive to Carti, bound for the San Blas Archipelago in the Caribbean Sea
Lazing around on the white sandy beaches comfortably installed in a hammock. Possibility to escape for a few hours on a deserted islet or to meet the Kuna Indians
Exploring the seabed and coral reefs with a mask and snorkel, it will be possible to learn about the ancient art of molas, or even navigate between mangroves and tropical vegetation..
