Just as inescapable as the Dogon Country, the city of the 333 saints is a landlocked city, difficult to access and strongly discouraged by the authorities. The best way to get there is to take home flights or rent a 4 x 4 from Mopti. Air departures are almost regular. But since you are never at the end of its surprises, it is strongly recommended to consult the schedules beforehand. If the Bamako-Timbuctou flight is delayed (or deleted), you should take the following route accordingly. This circuit is established on a basic basis, i. e. without the incidents that may occur in this type of route. Maybe set one or two days of beating.

This mythical city sometimes disappoints visitors. It still remains one of the most beautiful cities in Mali. Built in the middle of the sands, inhabited by Tuareg, Songhai, Arabs and Moors, the mysterious city houses beautiful Maghreb mansions and splendid mosques.
