Go to Marrakech and take your first steps peacefully by taking the temperature of the city. The senteurs and animation of the souk, imperial architecture, snake snake... everything helps you to dépayser!
Take the vif of the subject with the Palais de la Bahia, the gardens of the Ménara and Majorelle, then stroll on the Jama el Fna square. Spend the rest of the day exploring The, covering more than 20 hectares and offering a permanent show. Don't miss the Jewish quarter in the Medina!
Start your day early to cross the Tizin Tichka Pass before the hottest hours, then visit the kasbah At Ben Haddou, classified by UNESCO. During the day you will cross again the one of Tinfoultoute before arriving in Ouarzazate. A day on the road with splendid landscapes!
Take the road again by visiting the Dades valley and then the Todra gorges. The Dades wadi feeds a series of oases where gardens, rose gardens and palm groves are jewels in this desert landscape. We can see the superb kasbahs, large fortified buildings, whose red ochre tones blend into the cliffs and the earth. In the evening, bivouac in Merzouga (4x4 recommended).
Take a break in the desert and stroll through the dunes. If you have some time and want to extend this tour, this region is really ideal for a 4WD hike, over 4-5 days. Let yourself be enchanted by the largest dunes of southern Morocco, the villages and oases with remarkable kasbahs, such as Maati and Rissani.
Again a beautiful day of road during which you will cross the valley of the Ziz and its beautiful palm groves and then Ifrane and its forest of cedars and finally the High Atlas. Fantastic landscapes will be served and you will have a very complete overview of the riches offered by Moroccan nature.
Visit of Fez el-Bali, the main and oldest part of the medina of Fez. As you walk along the two main streets, Talaa Seghira (the small ascent) and Talaa Kebira (the big ascent), you will discover the monuments that make the city so rich. Don't miss the Andalusian quarter and the Koranic school.
Leave Fes early in the morning to visit the Volubilis site before hot hours. Then go down to Meknès, the most unknown of the imperial cities. Visit of the medina, the and the great mosque, then the imperial city, the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the Bassin basin and the ancient monumental stables.
Visit Chefchaouen in the morning, certainly the most endearing stage of the Moroccan Rif with its cobbled streets and tile roofs particularly offbeat under these latitudes. You will spend the afternoon in Tetouan with its medieval-style medina before daydreaming along the coast road to Tangier.
Visit the Tangier kasbah in the morning, then take the road to Rabat where you will have lunch before going around the ramparts and explore the Oudayas kasbah. At the end of the day, drive to Casablanca.
In half a day you will see the main attractions of Casablanca: the Hassan II mosque and the Habous district, the cornice, the old medina, the old medina, the Houphouet-Boigny boulevard and its arcades with craft shops. On the road to Essaouira, stop in El Jadida, the "little Moroccan Deauville" or in Oualidia, a more authentic fishing port. Arrival in Essaouira at the end of the day.
The wild coast of Essaouira is certainly one of the most beautiful shows you have to see in the country. Take the time to take full advantage of it. Here again, Essaouira is a good starting point for exploring the region and making a few hikes. In Essaouira, do not miss the old Portuguese batteries and the tower of the ramparts.
We continue with the seaside part of the stay by going to Agadir via Taroudant. You will soon fall under the spell of the "little Marrakech" whose ramparts and gardens you will explore. In the afternoon, you will reach Agadir, the largest seaside resort in Morocco. Enjoy the beach and swimming for a relaxing day.
After a last sea bath in Agadir, take the road to Marrakech. You will visit palm groves along the road and then have time to spend some free time in Marrakech for some shopping or a simple walk along the 18 km of the city's ramparts to soak up the sumptuous images one last time.
