If you visit Guyana or reside there, spend a weekend in Suriname is possible. The flight between Cayenne and Paramaribo lasts only 3/4 hour, and by car it takes less than 3 hours to rally Paramaribo from Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni.

Day dedicated to visiting the old town and Fort Zeelandia. Boat trip to observe the dolphins in the late afternoon. Dinner in one of the many restaurants in the capital and a night out: the city has countless bars, clubs and casinos!

Departure for the Bergendal Resort: relaxation and discovery of the Surinamese primary forest through various activities: historical tour of the old plantation, kayak or zip line. Overnight on site.

Shopping day (prices are more attractive than in French Guiana, especially for local crafts or branded clothing), or visit one of the plantations near the city (Peperpot, Frederiksdorp, etc.). Return to Cayenne or Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni.
