Discover Jordan where many civilizations have left their mark. Follow in their footsteps through a complete stay between cultures and natural areas. You will visit Jerash, this Greco-Roman city is incredibly well preserved and is among the most beautiful in the world. Then the "Pink City" of Petra, one of the great wonders built by man and nature. The city is one of the treasures of the Near East, carved out of stone by the Nabateans 2,600 years ago. You will experience unforgettable moments from the North to the South of Jordan, with aquatic hikes in the Mujib Canyon, you will be able to observe its emerald pools passing through the hollow of huge red walls. Then an off-the-beaten track expedition to the Wadi Rum desert, "the open-air cathedral". You will discover the unique water of the Dead Sea, thanks to a high concentration of salt and minerals, you can float in the water. You will leave with great memories and stars in your eyes.     After breakfast, departure to the desert east to visit the Desert Castles: Qasr Amra, Qasr Al Kharaneh, Qasr Al Hallabet, hunting lodges of various architectural styles, which were built by the Umayyad caliphs of Damascus in the 7th century. Return to Amman; visit the citadel of Jabal al-Qala on top of an L-shaped hill; it is one of the seven Jabal (a mountain) that formed the ancient city. The citadel is the first place to go, if only for the view of the city, its hills and its countless mosques. Visit the Old City with its Roman theater dating back to the 2nd century and capable of seating up to 6,000 people. Visit the Jordan Museum*, the largest museum in Jordan. It contains the great archaeological discoveries of the country. Dinner at Tawaheen Alhoa, an old restored caravanserai that has become a meeting place for Jordanian families. Overnight in Amman.     Breakfast at the hotel. Departure with your guide to the north to visit Jerash, formerly called Gerasa, this Greco-Roman city is incredibly well preserved and is among the most beautiful in the world. Drive to the fortress of Ajloun known as Qal'at Ar-Rabad, built in 1184 by 'Izz ad-Din Usama bin Munqidh, a general of Saladin defeated by the Crusaders. This fortress is a superb example of Islamic architecture. You will continue your day towards Umm Qais, like Jerash, it is an ancient Greco-Roman city, known as Gadara, it was famous for its cultural activities. Overlooking the beautiful Jordan Valley, it will let you discover a unique panorama and will be the ideal place to take pictures. At the end of the day we will return to Amman.     Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit to the Royal Automobile Museum (collection of antique royal cars) in Amman. After the visit, drive to the Jordan Valley. Stopover to visit Al Salt city the ancient capital of Jordan. Its small houses and authentic architecture will make this visit a very pleasant and rewarding moment. Departure for the visit of Bethany, the place of Christ's baptism, a unique site in the world on the Jordan River. Departure to the Dead Sea, the lowest point in the world (- 432 meters), its water is unique due to a high concentration of salt and minerals. Free time to swim and relax.     Departure in the morning, after breakfast, for the Kings' Route: visit Mount Nebo which offers a spectacular view of the Holy Land. Here you will find the memorial of Moses and the place from which he would have discovered the Holy Land. Then visit Madaba, "the city of mosaics", known for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, this city is home to the famous mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land dating from the 6th century. With its two million pieces carved from colorful local stones, this map depicts the hills, valleys, towns and villages of the region down to the Nile Delta. Other mosaic masterpieces have been found in the Church of the Virgin and the Apostles and in the Archaeological Park and Museum, depicting a profusion of flowers and plants, birds, fish and animals, as well as scenes inspired by mythology or daily activities related to hunting, fishing and agriculture. There are hundreds of other mosaics dated between the fifth and seventh centuries scattered throughout the churches and homes of Madaba. To better understand this art, visit the Madaba Mosaic School, the only one of its kind in the Middle East, which trains craftsmen in the art of making, repairing and restoring mosaics. Drive to the hot springs of Ma'in, the most famous hyperthermal waterfalls in Jordan (Hammamet Ma'in) and admire the beauty of this oasis in the desert. Dinner and overnight in Ma'in.     Breakfast and departure for the Mujib Canyon*: come and discover the aquatic hike (duration: more or less 3 hours), you will start in the refreshing waters of the Wadi Mujib canyon: the emerald basins parade in the hollow of huge red walls. Then we will visit the castle of Kerak, built by the Crusaders in the 12th century. At the end of the afternoon leave for the natural reserve of Dana. Dinner and overnight in Dana. Meals: breakfast, dinner Accommodation: Dana Guest House Eco Lodge 3* or similar English speaking guide in Dana * Entrance fee: 18 JOD / person to be paid on site (plus or minus 22€) * Moujip Canyon closes just after the first rain of the year (around 10-15 November until 15 April) * If the canyon is closed you can enjoy your morning at the hot springs of Ma'in.

    Breakfast and departure with your English-speaking Bedouin guide for Shaq al Reesh (trail about 3h30-4h), a beautiful hike in the heart of the Wadi Dana gorge. Then, departure by car to the Crusader castle of Shobak. After the visit of this crusader castle, we will visit Little Petra (a miniature replica of the "Pink City of Petra").     Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the desert of Wadi Rum at 1h30 of road. Upon arrival in Wadi Rum, welcome by your Bedouin guide (English speaking). After meeting your guide, you will leave on foot with him. It is in these fantastic landscapes that Lawrence of Arabia and his Bedouin allies repelled the Turkish occupiers. One of the most beautiful deserts in the world offers a stunning and constantly changing spectacle. We will pass through Siq Albarrah and its canyon to enjoy the landscapes of this sand and rock desert. At the end of the day, admire the magnificent colors of the dunes at sunset!     We have breakfast. For the second day in the desert, we go south to the mountain of Jebel Burdah and its monumental arch: this rock bridge is considered one of the highest natural arches in the world. Climbing up the Jebel (approx. 3h30 round trip) to the arch. On the way back down, tea and well deserved cookies will be waiting for you. In the afternoon 2h-3h walk to reach the bivouac.     Breakfast. Early in the morning, leave for a walk through the dunes of Um Sabatah. This 3rd day in the desert of Wadi Rum continues via Wadi Um ishreen and the inscriptions of Anfashieh mountain. This mountain is famous for its ancient inscriptions, which are remarkably well preserved. Anfashieh has many Thamudic and Nabatean inscriptions of animals, most likely left by the caravans of goods en route to Petra. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
