Possibility to visit the Himba people with a local guide (included). The Himba people are one of the last people to still live in an ancestral way. The Himbas are semi-nomadic pastoralists. They live on the milk of their goats, their cattle and various plants. Their habitat is simple. They are easily dismantled structures made of branches and palm leaves that are waterproofed with the dung of the cattle. It is common for a family to have to move a dozen times to find better pastures. Very concerned about their natural beauty, the Himbas protect their bodies with an ointment made from ochre and animal fat, which gives them this particular color. This visit allows us to discover their culture and traditions.
