One week to ten days. If you're going to spend just a week in Uganda, you're probably coming to meet the famous mountain gorillas, maybe extending a stay in Tanzania or Kenya. This type of stay does not take place and you will need to book in advance (up to 6 months in high season) your licence through an agency or by contacting the Ugandan Wildlife Authority directly. All of the country's agencies offer-day express ? Gorillas towers, to which you can add two or three safari days in the Queen Elisabeth Park (or Murchinson Falls, but you will have to iron through Kampala which makes a Lot of Road for a Week). Finally, if gorillas aren't your priority and you don't want to get too far away from the capital, the Ssese islands on Lake Victoria offer a very pleasant getaway, to be completed by a Séjour stay at the Nile springs. A-day stay allows you to see the best of Uganda, meeting gorillas and chimpanzees and safari in the two major national parks of Queen Elizabeth and the Murchinson Falls. An intense journey where you have to expect to be slow...
