Hotels will be proposed to you, in a second step, following the itinerary that you will have chosen.

Day 2 : Free day in Sanur

You certainly have a lot of questions to ask us, so we suggest that you meet us at our offices around 10:30 in the morning (your driver will pick you up at your hotel). This meeting will allow you to make a summary of your programme, to identify the essentials, our favourites, the important points not to be forgotten and some advice which will be very useful during your tour.

The afternoon will be for you the occasion to rest serenely, to change your money, to find detailed maps of Bali, to try a few words of Indonesian, to have a massage: In short, to get you ready for the rest of your programme.

Day 3 : Pasar Badung Market - Jatiluwih - Munduk

Now it's time to hit the road and experience Bali at your own pace, it's up to you to choose, to get lost to find yourself, to follow our advice or to prefer to follow your own instincts... Adventure is at the end of the road but always in Slow Travel mode...

You can then drive to Denpasar to visit the Pasar Badung, Bali's largest market. A unique atmosphere, unknown fruits, intoxicating smells. It is a direct immersion in the local life, here no or very few tourists but a first meeting outside the traditional circuits.

If you wish, you can join the rice fields of Jatiluwih. This region, recently classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers splendid landscapes which have hardly changed for hundreds of years and allow you to discover rice fields with stairs as far as the eye can see or to discover the surrounding villages.

The road naturally takes you to the Bedugul region and more precisely, Munduk: situated in the heart of mountains covered with cloves, this village is surrounded by coffee, cocoa and jungle plantations.

Day 4 : Munduk Balinese Temple - jungle and sacred lake

Munduk is a region that is ideal for discovery, as on the shores of Lake Tambligan with a walk of about 2H00 (to be defined with your local guide) through a primary forest where immense Banians (sacred trees) share the sky with giant ficus trees. On the way back you will cross the sacred waters of Lake Tamblingan in a traditional canoe whose hull is carved out of a tree trunk.

The day can continue with a visit to the Pura Ulun Danu. This temple on the shores of Lake Bratan is dedicated to the goddess of the lake, ruler of the waters of Bali, who joined forces with the deity of Mount Agung to make the island fertile. It is said that the goddess Danu is a manifestation of the great god Vishnu, protector of the universe.

Day 5 : Pemuteran the black sandy beach or Amed the old fishing village

When preparing your tailor-made programme, we will offer you two options. You can spend two free days in Pemuteran to enjoy the beautiful area between the Barat National Park and Menjagan Nature Reserve, or you can choose Amed, a pleasant fishing village, famous for its long black sand beach and the imposing Agung volcano at the end of it.

Pemuteran, like Amed, can also be the occasion to lose yourself in reading, to have a massage all day long and to take long naps by the pool. In this programme everything is proposed and nothing is imposed.

In both cases, on the way you have the possibility to stop at the hot springs of Banjar, and/or to visit the Shinto temple of Singaraja or the Buddhist monastery of Seririt. The choice is yours! Unless you have another wish?

Pemuteran or Amed are two very pleasant regions when it comes to enjoying nature and wide open spaces. More intimate than Amed, Pemuteran, gives you the possibility of snorkelling in the Menjagan Natural Park, while Amed will be more appreciated by divers and those who want more entertainment.

Day 7 : The protected area of Sidemen

Depending on the region you have chosen previously, the road to Sidemen will be more or less long. Many breaks are possible so that you can continue to enjoy Bali.

The village of Sidemen, remains a reference point for those who love the authentic preservation of a thousand-year-old region with the majestic Mount Agung in the background and the mountainsides sculpted by superb terraced rice fields and plantations of corn, chilli peppers and cloves.

Day 8 : The protected area of Sidemen

The panoramas of this rural area seem timeless and take us back to the Bali of yesteryear. This region has been preserved thanks to a local association which has been working for some years and enforces rules to keep both culture and tradition.

This day can be devoted to long walks in the rice fields of Sidemen or to the temple which is located in altitude, unless you prefer to discover Tirta Gangga, which means "holy water of the Ganges" in Balinese. This architectural ensemble, built in 1948 by the Raja of Karangasem, curiously combines Balinese and Chinese styles. The water garden, which covers an area of 1.2 hectares, consists of three areas.

Sidemen is ideal to take your time, to meet the local population, you are free to choose what pleases you.

At the end of the morning we leave for Ubud, which has become the region of choice for those who appreciate being able to taste, touch, be moved, take a trip back in time or experience authentic sensations. There is something for all tastes from the contemporary to the oldest discoveries, Ubud is a Balinese book that goes back over the history of the island, it's up to you to discover it.

On the way, you will be able to stop at the village of Tenganan where the ancient Balinese, the Agas, will allow you to better understand the past of Bali.
