Arrival in the late afternoon and transfer to Stockholm, installation, dinner and overnight stay
Departure to visit the Stockholm archipelago by kayak. Ferry to cross the islets of the Stockholm archipelago, arriving on the wild and isolated island of Värmdö. Kayaking from island to island in this wilderness area whose calm waters are full of surprises (seals and seabirds). 4 hours of kayaking.
In the morning, departure by ferry to the centre of Stockholm. Visit of this atypical city spread over several islands, starting with the Gamla Stan district. Historic district with cobbled streets housing the royal castle and the Nobel Museum. Then we go to the open-air museum of Skansen on the island of Djugarden, which reproduces the whole of Sweden in miniature
After a short transfer to leave the city, hiking in Tyresta National Park, unique environment with typical landscapes, glacial valleys in central Sweden with these eroded rock tiles and its forest cut by lakes. Installation of a bivouac to extend immersion in this grandiose nature.
The day will take place in the interior to reach an area where elk, a massive and symbolic animal of the country, are found. In the late afternoon, possibility to go on an elk or beaver safari. Overnight in a rustic eco-gîte
After breakfast by the campfire, wake up energized in the floating sauna of the accommodation. Then head for the Klarälven river. It is the longest river in the country. Construction and assembly of wooden logs to build the raft that will allow you to go down this quiet river for 10 km in the most original way possible... Bivouac in tents by the water's edge.
End of the descent by raft and crossing of Värmland to Uppsala. This magnificent region offers superb forest landscapes dotted with nearly 10,000 lakes. In the afternoon, arrive in Uppsala, a charming little Swedish town in the medieval city centre.
Return to Stockholm, transfer to Arlanda airport and flight back to France.
