Your arrival in Phnom PenhArrival in Phnom Penh. You will be greeted by your driver, then taken by private vehicle to your hotel. You will then have free time to settle in. Dinner at your leisure and overnight at the hotel.
day 2
Phnom Penh - Killing Fields, Genocide Museum, National Museum and Royal PalaceDeparture in a private tuk-tuk for a visit with audio guides to the Killing Fields, followed by the Tuol Sleng S21 Genocide Museum. Lunch will be at your leisure. After your lunch, you will continue your visits with the National Museum, finishing with the Royal Palace. You will return to your hotel at the end of the day. Dinner at your leisure.
day 3
Discovery of Phnom PenhYou will leave after your breakfast in an electric vehicle for the "Heritage" tour in the Cambodian capital, to immerse yourself in its history and architectural secrets. Lunch is at your leisure at the end of the tour. In the afternoon, you will visit the Central Market accompanied by your French guide, followed by a tuk-tuk discovery of Phnom Penh from the Protectorate era, including a visit to Wat Phnom. The tuk-tuk will then take you to the river, where you will enjoy an aperitif cruise on the Mekong to admire the sunset. Dinner is at your leisure and return to the hotel.
day 4
Departure to Kep.After your breakfast, you will head by private vehicle to the small town of Kep, in the south of the country. Arrival at your hotel in the late morning and check-in. Lunch at leisure (suggestion at your hotel). After your lunch, departure by tuk-tuk to Kep National Park for a self-guided visit. Around 4 p.m., you will go for a boat ride in the mangrove at sunset. At the end of your ride, your driver will take you to downtown Kampot for dinner. Dinner at leisure, then return to your hotel with your driver.
day 5
Kampot and the pepper plantationAfter your breakfast, depart by scooter accompanied by your guide, a specialist of the region, to visit a pepper plantation, then stop at Changkar Bey Lake, also known as "The little Ha Long Bay of Cambodia". Local lunch included. Continue the ride to reach Kep via the royal alley, in the heart of authentic Cambodia, passing by salt marshes and mangroves. Return to the hotel at the end of the afternoon. Dinner at your leisure.
day 6
Kep - Rabbit IslandAfter your breakfast, you will leave by tuk-tuk to the pier to take the boat that will take you to Rabbit Island, a lush and peaceful island, isolated and out of time. Lunch at your leisure and free afternoon to enjoy the island and its tranquility. Return to the hotel at the end of the day. Dinner at your leisure.
day 7
Flight to Siem Reap and visit to a floating village on Tonlé Sap Lake.After your breakfast, you will leave the hotel in a private vehicle for Sihanoukville airport and your flight to Siem Reap. Transfer from the airport to your hotel in a private vehicle and check-in. Lunch at leisure upon your arrival. Departure in a private vehicle, accompanied by your French-speaking guide, to a floating village on Tonlé Sap Lake. Boat ride to discover this way of life so different from ours, followed by a canoe trip in the flooded forest (depending on the water level and the season). Return to your hotel at the end of the afternoon. Dinner at leisure.
day 8
AngkorDeparture very early by tuk-tuk with your French-speaking guide to purchase your 3-day passes for Angkor, then head to Angkor Wat to admire the sunrise. Complete visit of the site after a free breakfast (provided by your hotel), with the discovery of the city of Angkor Thom, the Bayon, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Private lunch near Sras Srang in a traditional house, where you can then enjoy a moment of relaxation. After this peaceful break, you will board a short flight on a tethered balloon to admire a stunning 360-degree panorama over the Angkor park. Return to your hotel in the middle of the afternoon. Dinner-show of traditional Khmer arts (included).
day 9
From Siem Reap to Banteay ChhmarAfter your breakfast, depart in a private vehicle with your driver towards the village of Banteay Chhmar, located in the northwest of Cambodia, at the Thai border. You will be welcomed by a local family. Lunch included at the village community center. The afternoon begins with a walking tour of the Banteay Chhmar temple, accompanied by an English-speaking guide. This will be followed by an ox cart ride to Ta Prohm. Return to your homestay, then dinner at the foot of the temple by torchlight and to the sound of traditional music, performed live by the villagers.
day 10
Immersion in Banteay Chhmar and departure for BattambangBreakfast included (possibility to have it at a local's home). You will take a guided walking tour of the Banteay Chhmar market. Then, you will ride in a koyon, the traditional Khmer tractor, to the Banteay Torp temple, passing through the rice fields. Visit of the temple with an English-speaking guide. Lunch included in complete privacy at the foot of the temple ruins. Departure by private vehicle to Battambang after your lunch. Arrival at the end of the day and check-in at your hotel. Dinner at your leisure.
day 11
Visit of Battambang and sunset at Phnom Sampov.Morning of cultural visits by tuk-tuk, accompanied by a French-speaking guide. You will discover the authentic Cambodian countryside and meet traditional craftsmen. Local lunch included. Continuation of visits in the countryside (orchards, vegetable crops), to end your journey at the end of the day at Phnom Sampov to witness the flight of thousands of bats at sunset. Dinner at your leisure. Return to the hotel.
day 12
Return to Siem ReapAfter your breakfast, you will leave your hotel in a private vehicle towards Siem Reap. Arrival in late morning and check-in. Lunch at leisure at your hotel. Free afternoon for relaxation (pool, shopping...) Dinner-show at the Phare Circus (category C included).
day 13
Siem Reap - Ta Prohm and Banteay Srei TemplesAfter your breakfast, departure in a private vehicle, accompanied by a French-speaking guide, for the visit of Ta Prohm, the famous Tomb Raider temple, followed by the Citadel of Women, Banteay Srei, located about twenty kilometers northeast of Angkor. Lunch included in a restaurant in Banteay Srei. On the way back to Siem Reap, you will visit, accompanied by the Franco-Khmer owners, a silk preservation center (www.goldensilk.org). Return to your hotel at the end of the afternoon. Dinner at your leisure.
day 14
Cooking class in the countryside and departure...After breakfast, departure by tuk-tuk to take part in a private cooking class in the countryside, accompanied by a chef from one of the best hotel schools in the region. He takes advantage of his days off to welcome you to his home, with his family, in their village, in the middle of rice fields and lotus fields. Share his secrets of traditional cooking in the heart of an authentic Cambodia. Lunch prepared by you and shared with the family (included). Return to your hotel for a relaxing afternoon before your return flight. At the end of the afternoon, you will leave the hotel in a private vehicle to Siem Reap International Airport.
