• dag 1 :

  Rio de Janeiro - Arrival

  

  Pick up at the airport and private transfer to your hotel. As this is a tailor-made trip, we adapt the tour schedule according to your flight schedule. After a long flight  + time difference, we usually suggest a little rest before starting the visits. However, we remain open to any wishes you may have. Dinner is free. Night at  Arena Leme - located in front of Copacabana beach. (Others options : Porto Bay or Miramar by Windsor, Arpoador,..)

• dag 2 :

  Corcovado and Sugarloaf

  

  Brazilian breakfast served at the hotel restaurant. In the morning, visit of Christ offering an indescribable view over the bay of Rio de Janeiro. “Corcovado” is a deformation of the word “hunchback”, in Portuguese to designate the mountain, which dominates Rio from its 710 meters and on which stands the giant statue (38m high, 28m wide) of Christ the Redeemer made by the French sculptor Paul Landowski. With his open arms, he personifies the welcome and hospitality of the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro. The panorama will allow you to understand its configuration. One of the most beautiful views of Rio ... Unforgettable! Free lunch. In the afternoon, visit of Sugarloaf, ascent by cable car. You will enjoy the superb view of Guanabara Bay. Free dinner. Night at the hotel.

• dag 3 :

  Colonial Rio

  

  Brazilian breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant. In the morning, private tour of the Colonial Rio with bilingual English-speaking guide. Stroll in the old Rio, Cultural Corridor, Tiradentes Palace, Church of Lapa dos Mercadores, Square XV, Casa França-Brasil, Church of Candelária, Monastery of Saint Benedict and its Church covered with gold. We will end the tour with a visit to the beautiful modern Metropolitan Cathedral, inspired by an Inca temple. Lunch free. Afternoon visit to the Santa Teresa district and discovery of the Selaron staircase. Dinner free. Overnight at the hotel.

• dag 4 :

  Manaus

  

  Brazilian breakfast served at the hotel restaurant. Private transfer to Foz do Iguaçu airport. Flight to Manaus. Reception at the airport and private transfer to the hotel. Free lunch and dinner. Night at the hotel. Night at JUMA OPERA

• dag 5 :

  Amazonia

  

  Brazilian breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant. The final programme will be handed over to you at the Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge. Morning transfer to the Lodge (3hs). Welcome cocktail and installation in the rooms. After lunch, you will take a tour of the Anavilhanas archipelago by boat (3h). Around 7pm dinner is scheduled. After dinner, you will go in search of crocodiles that you can get very close to or even capture. They will be immediately released. (1 to 2 hours). Night at the Lodge. In Amazonia, we give you the choice between several lodges, or even boats according to your wishes and the time you have available. Some lodges are located at 03/04h distance from Manaus. Also, we take into account if you are travelling as a family, with children.  As mentioned, we offer other options of lodges in the Amazon (Juma, Manati, Tupana, Mirante ...)  

• dag 6 :

  Amazon, forest and animals

  

  After breakfast, canoe trip in the flooded forest ("igapó") and in the small river arms, tributaries of the Rio Negro ("igarapés"). Lunch scheduled around noon followed by a visit to the pink dolphins and craft shops in Novo Airão (2-3h). Dinner scheduled around 7pm. Overnight at the Lodge.

• dag 7 :

  Amazon, nature and culture

  

  05:00 - Sunrise and bird watching by canoe (1-2hs) and breakfast. Then, fishing for Piranhas (3h). and return around noon for lunch. In the afternoon, visit of the Tiririca indigenous community for a presentation of their culture (3h). Return planned for dinner. Overnight at the Lodge.

• dag 8 :

  Sao Luis

  

  Breakfast. Return transfer to Manaus airport. Arrival in Manaus. Flight to São Luis. Reception and transfer to the hotel * Luzeiros. Free dinner. Night at the hotel.

• dag 9 :

  Lencois Maranhenses, Barreirinhas

  

  Brazilian breakfast served at the hotel restaurant. Morning, private transfer (+/- 03h30 journey) to your hotel in Barreirinhas, the entrance to the Lençóis! Installation at the hotel. With 155,000 hectares, the size equivalent to the largest city in South America (São Paulo), the Lençóis receive the imprecise, if not equivocal, name of "Brazilian Desert". The rate of rainfall is 1750mm per year, it rains three hundred times more than in the Sahara, thus creating a surreal landscape: an ocean of sand interspersed with a green oasis and hundreds of crystalline lagoons full of fish and small shellfish. The Preguiças River is also responsible for dividing the Lençóis into two parts, Les Grands and Les Petits Lençóis. Lepremier impresses with its expanse, dunes and lagoons. The second, because of the diversity, since in a single photo we can frame the river, the sea, the mangroves, the countryside and the dunes with their lagoons. Free lunch. Free afternoon. Free dinner. Night at the hotel. Night at Porto Preguiças (possibility of this trip to plan an extension up to ATINS - LA FERME DE GEORGES)

• dag 10 :

  The Maranhenses Lencois

  

  Brazilian breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant. In the morning, departure in 4x4 - 50 minutes through sandy tracks to the foot of the dunes. Short walk to Lagoa Bonita and swimming. Lunch is free. Afternoon visit to Lagoa Azul. Magnificent view of the sunset and the dunes. Dinner at leisure. Night at the hotel in Barreirinhas.

• dag 11 :

  Voadeira excursion

  

  Brazilian breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant. Full day, departure 08:30 in "voadeira". Descent of the Rio Preguiças, stop at Vassouras for a short walk on the Pequenos (small) Lençóis . Lunch free. Continuation along the river to Mandacaru. Climb up to the lighthouse to see the view. Return to Barreirinhas at the end of the afternoon. Dinner at leisure. Night at the hotel in Barreirinhas.

• dag 12 :

  Parnaiba

  

  Brazilian breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant. In the morning, transfer by 4x4 from Barreirinhas to Tutóia (approx. 02:30) via the beach and dunes to PaulinoNeves, then sand road to Tutóia. Embarkation at the port of Tutóia on a voadeira for the crossing of the Delta (about 4h30 with lunch stop not included). The Parnaíba Delta remains as beautiful and majestic as in those distant days. Formed by 85 islands on an area of 2700 km² between the states of Piauí and Maranhão, the only delta in the Americas is a rare phenomenon that can only be found on the Nile in Africa and on the Mekong in Asia. Dinner is free. Overnight at *Casa Santo Antonio, Parnaiba. IMPORTANT: WE ALSO SUGGEST STAYS IN BARRA GRANDE AND CAMOCIM, IN CHARMING/ LUXURY HOTELS.

  Jericoacoara

  

  Brazilian breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant. Transfer by 4x4 to Jericoacoara (03:30). Free lunch and dinner. Overnight at hotel WindJeri In jericoacoara, we offer about twenty hotel/pousada options (Casalo, Vila Kalango, Essenza, Hurricane, Villa Jeri, Villa Praia,...)

• dag 14 :

  Jericoacoara at Hotel

  

  Brazilian breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant. Free day at leisure in Jericoacoara. POSSIBILITY TO PLAN A BUGGY DAY. FOR KITESURFING LESSONS, WE SUGGEST TO PLAN 3 HALF DAYS (THEORY/LEARNING) On 15 March 1987, the prestigious American newspaper Washington Post published a list of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world. The selection criteria took into account above all the beauty and exoticism of the places. To the general astonishment of Brazilians, an unknown beach on the west coast of Ceará was at the top of the list and with a more than bizarre name: Jericoacoara. From that moment on, American and European adventurers followed by Brazilians arrived at this distant paradisiacal beach. Lunch and dinner free. Night at the hotel.

  Jericoacoara

  

  Brazilian breakfast served at the hotel restaurant. Free day in Jericoacoara (possibility of buggy, horse, kite lessons, capoeira, yoga, ..) Lunch and dinner free. Night at the hotel.

• dag 16 :

  Departure

  

  Brazilian breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant. Transfer by 4x4 to Fortaleza airport for your international flight.
