A Journey Between Authentic Nature and Culture
Cape Verde is characterized by a dry climate, similar to that of Senegal, its neighboring country on the African coast. However, the climate varies depending on the island and its exposure to wind, as well as altitude, affecting the ambient heat. Cape Verde has two distinct seasons: a dry season extending from late October to early July, which is less hot but with very strong winds between December and February, and a wet season, known as the "rainy season," from mid-July to October, with August and September being particularly hot months. For several years, Cape Verde has been experiencing severe drought leading to water shortages, prompting some hotels to ask their guests to limit their consumption.
