Snowshoeing in Austria, in the beautiful region of Bregenzerwald.To the east of the Constance Lake, this large lake on the borders of Switzerland, Germany and Austria, begins the preserved region of Bregenzerwald, which extends to the Arlberg mountains. Vast forests, mountains, lakes, shimmering villages... Nature is beautiful and romantic; in winter, snow covers the vast pastures and meadows with a thick white coat, adding majesty to the surrounding peaks … This former free community of Vorarlberg has forged a country with strong nature, but also very rich in folklore and traditions. Bregenz - Sibratsgfall (929 m)
Reception in Bregenz, on the shores of Lake Constance, then transfer (37km) to the mountain village of Sibratsgfäll, in the heart of the Bregenzerwald and amidst pristine alpine meadows. If you come by car, please come directly to the hotel. Transfer: private vehicle, approx. 45 minutes. Accommodation: Gasthof*** hotel. Meals included: Dinner. Meals not included: breakfast - lunch.

The snowy mountain pastures of Sibratsgfall
From this small village at the end of the world, we will take the direction of Mähmoos, cross the river Subersach on a small bridge, along the rounded heights of the Patennekleiner, and return to the village at the end of a day through the snowy mountain pastures of the Bregenzerwald. Walking time: about 5 hours. Positive drop: + 250 m. Negative drop: - 250 m. Accommodation: hotel gasthof***. Meals included: breakfast - lunch - dinner.

Sibratsgfall - Hittisau
A crossing that will lead us to the beautiful village of Hittisau crossing the small massif of Hittisberg at 1328 m. Return by postal bus to the hotel. Walking time: about 5 hours. The Renkknies - Balderschwang or Sibratsgfall - Au
Climb to the top of the Renkknies (1411m), which offers a view of the Balderschwanger valley to the north. Descent through the mountain pastures then through the forest in the valley of Balderschwang. The day offers us beautiful views of the villages and mountains of the Bregenzerwald. Return by postal bus to the hotel. Walking time: about 5 hours. Positive drop: + 500 m. Negative drop: - 400 m. Another alternative: We will head due south until the alp of Schönenbach (1025 m). The climb, quiet up to Haldenalpe, is accentuated somewhat to climb a succession of pastures (1477 m) and crosses a small wooded ridge at 1498 m, summit of the day. Then descend the Stogger Sattel (1415 m) which offers you a remarkable panorama! Descent on Au through the open and snowy pastures. Return by postal bus to Sibratsgfäll. Walking time: about 6 hours.
