Departure to Ghadames, via the old fortified granaries and the Berber villages of Qasr el-Haj and Nalout. Arrival in Ghadames in the evening.

Day 3 : Ghadames the Saharan

Discovery of Ghadames, whose old town is classified as a World Heritage Site. We also visit the palm grove, the museum, the fort of Ras el-Ghoul (reserve the small lakes of An-Debban in the desert for the next morning on the way back). Sunset on the dunes of Ramlet el-Ramsin.

Day 7 : Stroll in Tripoli

Full visit of Tripoli: museum, old town, old mosques, Emperor Marcus Aurelius' triumphal arch, souks, city centre of Italian colonial architecture.
