The Lhotse (8,571 m) and Cho Oyu (8,153 m) also make a striking impression on the trek with their imposing steep walls.

Upon arrival, a representative of our team will welcome you. Transfer to the hotel, followed by a brief information meeting about the upcoming trekking program. Overnight at the hotel.




Day 2 : Flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,610m)

Early morning departure for your flight to Lukla (about 40 minutes). The sherpas will meet you upon arrival. The trek begins in Lukla, following the Dudh Kosi River to reach Phakding, which takes about 4 hours of walking. The route passes through the villages of Choplung, Thado Koshi, and Ghat. Dinner and overnight at a local lodge in Phakding.




Day 3 : Phakding-Namche (3,440m)

Trek to Namche, the Sherpa village, passing through thick forests and crossing suspension bridges (Koshi Dudh, Chumao, and the village of Manjo) to finally arrive at Sagarmatha National Park in Jorsalle. The last two hours of trekking to Namche Bazaar through the jungle are particularly intense. At this stage, it is possible to catch the first glimpse of the majestic Mount Everest. Dinner and overnight at a local lodge in Namche.




Day 4 : Acclimatization in Namche (3,440m)

Hike up to the villages of Khunde and Khumjung. The latter is the largest village in the Khumbu region. After lunch, return walk to Namche. Dinner and overnight in Namche.




Day 5 : Namche to Phorche Tanga (3,680m)

The first part of the trek is a gentle ascent through the Khumjung valley and along the Dudh Kosi River. The trail is winding, sometimes only used by mountain goats. Dinner and overnight at Phorche Tanga.

The trail goes through a forest, offering a magnificent panorama of Cho Oyu (8,201m), one of the eternal snow-covered peaks of the Khumbu Himalaya. Overnight in Machhermo.




Day 7 : Machhermo to Gokyo Valley (4,790m)

The trail is very winding. The mountain views from the Gokyo region are breathtaking. Dinner and overnight at a local lodge in Gokyo.

Early morning ascent of Gokyo Ri (5,463m), offering views of Mount Everest (8,848m), Mount Cho Oyu (8,153m), Mount Makalu, Mount Lhotse, and more... Return trek to the Gokyo valley. Depending on your fitness, you may continue to the 5th lake, Ngozumba (4,990m), where the view of Mount Everest is particularly impressive. Dinner and overnight at a local lodge in Gokyo.




Day 9 : Gokyo Valley to the Chola Pass (5,368m) to Dzonglha (5,420m)

The route descends from the Gokyo valley, passing near the second lake. About half of the hike takes place between the first and second lakes, crossing Chola Pass (5,368m) and passing through the village of Dragnak. The slope is steep. Once at the summit, the descent is slower, passing by small frozen lakes to finally reach Dzonglha. Dinner and overnight at a local lodge in Dzonglha.

Today's trek towards the village of Pheriche takes about 4 hours of walking. The rest of the day will be spent exploring the surroundings. Dinner and overnight at a local lodge in Lobuche.

This day of trekking follows the left side of the Khumbu Glacier with views of the northern faces of Mount Everest, Pumori, Khumbutse, and Kala Patthar (5,545m). The first view of Kala Patthar comes after a long walk on a rocky path. Once in Gorek Shep, the hike continues to Everest Base Camp, crossing various elevations. The Khumbutse and Khumbu glaciers make progress challenging. Dinner and overnight at a local lodge in Gorek Shep.

Early morning trek to Kala Patthar, admiring the stunning Himalayan range: Mount Everest (8,848m), Mount Pumori (7,165m), Mount Lhotse (8,516m), Mount Nuptse (7,864m), Mount Ama Dablam, Tawache, Cholatse, Lingtren peaks. From one massif to another, the view is superb, continuing the trek to Gorek Shep, passing through Lobuche and Dhugla. Dinner and overnight at a local lodge in Pheriche.




Day 13 : Pheriche to Tengboche (3,890m)

A day filled with village crossings, Buddhist monasteries, bridges, and waterfalls... today’s trek heads to Tengboche (3,890m). Dinner and overnight at a local lodge in Tengboche.




Day 14 : Tengboche to Namche (2,800m)

The trek begins by crossing the pine and rhododendron forest of Fungethaga. The path is steadily ascending towards Namche, passing through Trashinga and the village of Sanasa. The view of the Khumbu Himalaya from Sanasa village is magnificent. Dinner and overnight in Namche.




Day 15 : Namche (2,800m) to Lukla

The descent through the pine and rhododendron forest of Jorsale is steep. It takes about two hours to reach Mojo and another five hours to reach Lukla, passing through Phakding, Ghats Khola, Chaurikharka, and Chheplung. Dinner and overnight in Lukla.

After breakfast, morning flight to Kathmandu (approximately 40 minutes). Transfer to the hotel upon arrival, then free time. Overnight at the hotel.

Morning: free time. Afternoon: visit Swayambhunath, the "Monkey Temple," one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Kathmandu.
