Dinner and overnight at UNDER THE SHADE SAFARI LODGE (Double Room)

After breakfast at the lodge, you will meet your driver guide for a short briefing before departing for Tarangire National Park (approx. 2hrs 15mins drive). On arrival at the gate, you will wait patiently for the permit and registration formalities. You will then witness the jostling of the driver-guides with their safari vehicles as they rush to enter the park. This is the perfect time to take a pee before the safari begins.

Once you have obtained your permits, you will enter the park to go on safari. Tarangire National Park, named after the river that runs through it, is considered one of Tanzania's most beautiful wildlife refuges, and its high concentration of elephants and baobabs have contributed to its reputation. Covering 2600km2, the park is made up of low hills where forests of acacia and giant baobabs, swamp areas and vast plains are mixed. The park is home to resident wildlife (elephants, giraffes, cats, etc.) but also species that are sometimes difficult to observe in other parks, such as the Gerenuk, the lesser kudu, the oryx or even the eland and the greater kudu. In the dry season the large herds of zebra and wildebeest are concentrated along the Tarangire River and in the rainy season the green and rain-fed landscapes offer a wonderful spectacle. Dinner and overnight at TARANGIRE TORTILIS CAMP (Double Tent)

After breakfast, depart for an early morning game drive in Tarangire National Park, followed by lunch at Tarangire Safari Lodge. In the afternoon drive to Karatu.
Stop at Mto wa Mbu village. The afternoon is dedicated to a guided tour of Mto wa Mbu village. The village is ideally located in the Rift Valley and hides a multitude of tribes living in perfect harmony. The village is ideally situated in the Rift Valley and is home to a multitude of tribes living in perfect harmony, Tanzanian tribes living side by side with the Maasai who have lived here with their cattle for generations. With its market renowned for its countless fruits, including different varieties of bananas and anones, banana plantations, rice cultivation and handicraft workshops (wood carvings, paintings...) the village is an ideal stopover to discover Tanzanian life and culture. Dinner and overnight at MARERA VALLEY LODGE (Double Room)

After breakfast, take your picnic lunch and drive to Ngorongoro. Here you will enjoy a short hike accompanied by an armed ranger to explore the Ngorongoro Highlands. Once an active volcano as large as Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro contains the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, measuring 260km² and 18km in diameter. The rim of the crater towers over the floor by more than 600m. This walk allows you to discover the abundant flora of the crater rim, to enjoy magnificent views of the crater (if the weather is clear) and with luck, to encounter some animals.

You will then drive to the country's biggest attraction: the Serengeti National Park. "Serengeti" comes from the Maasai language and means "endless plains", which describes it perfectly. The Serengeti National Park is the most famous park in Africa due to the largest concentration of game on the continent and the migration of millions of wildebeest. The most impressive nature documentaries have been filmed in this magnificent park. At almost 15,000 km2, the Serengeti National Park is the second largest park in Tanzania. The captivating landscapes of the Serengeti National Park range from acacia savannahs to vast grasslands, mountains, lakes and swamps. Each area is unique and has its own atmosphere. Because of its natural beauty and the variety of its plants and animals, the park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This place will certainly touch your soul. Dinner and overnight at SERENGETI TORTILIS CAMP (Double Tent)

Today you will enjoy a full day safari in the Serengeti National Park. With the help of your driver-guide, you will decide on your program as you wish. Remember that the flexibility of having your own private guide and vehicle on safari comes into play when you want to spend more time tracking a particular animal in its natural, undisturbed habitat, or when you want to laze around and wait for the sun to engulf the horizon in its fiery purple colors. Your private guide will tailor your day's program according to your main interests and passion.

If you like to see wildlife from a different perspective, we recommend including a hot air balloon safari. Flying in a hot air balloon is a unique way to fly over the bush and catch the animals at first light... In the sky, the clouds draw figures where thoughts land. On the ground, the savannah awakens and with it its multiple species that point the tip of their horns, ears or trunk. The balloon rises above the plains of the Serengeti at sunrise. The pilot of the balloon changes the altitude during the flight for the pleasure of the passengers: climbing for an overview of the park and descending until the heads of the giraffes are shaved. After breakfast, transfer to Seronera Airstrip, Serengeti and board your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. We hope you had a great time with your safari driver-guide, but it's time to say goodbye. Don't forget to tip your guide as a friendly gesture of appreciation. Picnic lunch on board. Welcome on arrival and transfer to the hotel.
