We start our day with the site of Jerash. The city experienced its golden age under Roman rule, when it was known as Gerasa. Today, this site is considered one of the best-preserved Roman provincial towns in the world. Hidden under the sand for several centuries before being discovered and restored for 70 years, Jerash exemplifies extensive and formal Roman municipal planning throughout the Middle East. After lunch, departure for Iraq Al-Amir. This historic site was built by a Greek prince in the 3rd century BC and remains the only known Hellenistic site in Jordan. Around the remains of the Hyrcanus Palace, the hills are home to numerous caves, which date back to the Copper Age.

Dinner and overnight at the Dead Sea.

Distance: 180 km

After having taken the Route of the Kings, we will arrive in Dana. This natural area is home to more than 500 different plants, thanks to the layering of four topoclimates that coexist there.

After a lunch based on local products, we go for a walk of meditation and discovery within the reserve (3 hours) during which we can admire the landscape and smell the scents of desert plants. 15-minute moments of silence will allow us to admire the place and soak up it.

We will spend the night in one of Jordan's most magical sites, encampment, in a timeless place we don't need electricity for light. At nightfall, we will be lit by the moon and the stars. After sunset, we will share a moment on the terrace to admire a starry sky, free from light pollution. Dinner and overnight in a charming camp in Petra.

Distance : 200 km
