Magnificent, wild, authentic, Ruaha National Park is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the country. It is also one of the most underestimated. The flora is very varied: in addition to the classic lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, buffaloes, you can see rare black hippotragues, roan antelopes, oryx, yellow baboons, dogs...
The next day, departure for another day of safari in search of animals to observe in 4x4. Beware of tsetse flies, which abound in the region. Wear neither blue nor black, and opt for thick clothes despite the heat so you don't get stung through the canvas. The wild savannah landscapes are fantastic, and the wild animals are numerous

Picnic before taking a flight back to Dar Es Salaam. From the capital, you take another flight to Zanzibar. Arrival in Stone Town in the late afternoon. In the evening, dine in a good restaurant with Swahili fish and seafood specialities
Discover the city of Stone Town: take a guided tour in the morning of the old city to discover the Old Dispensary, the old fort, the Anglican church and the slave prison, the palace of Mtoni, the many narrow streets with sculpted doors and a very authentic atmosphere. In the afternoon, take a boat to Prison Island and snorkel on a beautiful coral reef nearby.
After a good week of strenuous safaris in the heat and dust of the bush, nothing beats a few days of beach in Nungwi or Kendwa in the far north of the island, among the most beautiful beaches because there are no coral reefs. Here you can swim at any time in the turquoise water. Landscape of a postcard in which one invites oneself to a nap under the palm tree
New day of rest and beach. We take the opportunity to soak up the lively atmosphere of Kendwa, the second largest city on the island after Stone Town. Visit the dhow making workshops, visit the turtle aquarium, and beach session followed by a massage on the deckchair, as there are many outdoor spas here
The jewel of the northern coast is called Mnemba, an island surrounded by a huge coral reef that dives into a wall, and can be discovered both diving and snorkeling. Located opposite Matemwe, the boat trips were also organized from Nungwi. In the afternoon, go to the Matemwe fish market (around 4pm), walk around this authentic village
Pack your bags for the south of the island, Pagé or Jambiani, the most touristic villages. Here the wind blows enough to kite-surf or windsurf. Great entertainment on the beach, women harvesting cultivated seaweed. The coral reef is wide and the lagoon magnificent. In the evening, dinner at the famous restaurant The Rocks in Michamvi
Zanzibar has a single national park, that encompassing the Jozani forest and the wild mangrove of the preserved coast of Chwaka Bay. The forest houses the lovely Colobus monkeys, which are easy to reach. The park visit with a forest guard takes a good half day. In the afternoon, enjoy the beach.
Choose from the island's unmissable tours one or two that you will love to do. The unmissable: the Spice Tour which takes you on a tour of a farm where all the spices of the island are grown, very instructive. Or the Dolphin Tour in Kizimkazi (where you can admire the village's 12th century mosque) or the Safari Blue, a day of snorkeling in the south of the island
One last beach morning before returning to Stone Town. In the afternoon, walk through the alleys to the Jaw corner, buy the latest souvenirs, buy lots of fabrics, local Swahili and Maasai crafts, and in the evening, discover the Forodhani market and attend a Taarab or jazz music concert to end your stay on a musical note.
