Learn survival in the wilderness with a musher

Evening welcome at the gîte d'étape. You prepare the equipment for the next few days and are put in condition for the days to come. Take the opportunity to rest, the expedition starts the next morning!

After breakfast and a briefing on the basics of independence in the cold, you will set off on foot with the sled dog team. Once there, you will learn how to build a bivouac in a snowy region, fire-making techniques and how to collect drinking water. Night in an igloo.

After waking up to the dogs' "song", your last day will be full of activities: introduction to first aid, orientation in the countryside, a ride with the sled dogs... Once back at the gîte, you will share a meal and debrief your experience. Departure from the gîte in the middle of the afternoon.
