You'll familiarize yourself with the area and explore the beautiful surroundings, from rice fields to small villages and temples. Friends and relatives of your host family will likely invite you to sit with them on the floor, as the Nepalese do—a genuine and heartfelt experience. You'll climb the palace's steps from the base of the hill—approximately 1,700 steps, requiring around two hours of ascent! If the weather is clear, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the Himalayan range, including the Manaslu and Himalchuli mountains, and panoramic views of the valleys. You will also visit the Gorkha Museum, which is located in the heart of the town in an old palace. Overnight at a hotel.

The road is unpaved, making the journey somewhat challenging. The trip takes about 4-5 hours before reaching the village of Barpak. The locals will welcome you and guide you to the house where you will stay. This small village is like a postcard, with its tile-roofed houses making it an attractive destination for travelers. The town is also a trekking stop on the way to Manaslu, known for its natural beauty. Overnight at the host's home.

Key places to visit in Bhaktapur include the Lion Gate, the Golden Gate, the Nyatapola Temple, the Bhairav Nath Temple, and the stone statues of kings. In the afternoon, you will visit the city of Pashupatinath. The Pashupatinath Temple is the most sacred Hindu shrine in Nepal and one of the largest Shiva sites in the subcontinent. Located next to the sacred Bagmati River, Pashupatinath is the holiest place in Nepal.
