Arrival at Cochin International Airport. Discover the quaint Cochin port, famous for its Chinese fishing nets. Visit the Santa Cruz Basilica, built by Portuguese settlers in 1505, followed by the St. Francis Church, where Vasco da Gama was once buried. Explore the Paradesi Synagogue, with its exquisite, richly decorated interior, considered the most beautiful in India. Option to visit the Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary (upon request). After breakfast, depart for Munnar, a stunning hill station that epitomizes Kerala’s natural beauty. The road to Munnar is a visual delight, lined with the finest tea plantations of the Indian subcontinent, waterfalls, lakes, rocky peaks, and eucalyptus forests. Explore the town center and then head to the tea and coffee plantations for a guided walk to discover the secrets of harvesting and processing. Overnight at the hotel.

A day of relaxation in Munnar. Visit the famous spice market. Option for an excursion to Mattupetty and the Devikulam tea plantations (upon request). Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, head to Periyar. Explore the town before embarking on a boat cruise through the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the most beautiful in the country, where you may catch glimpses of tigers and elephants (additional excursions or treks in the park available on request). Periyar is a true haven of peace, perfect for relaxing amid verdant hills covered in pepper and cardamom plantations. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, travel to Kumarakom. Visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, located on a peninsula jutting into the stunning Vembanad Lake. This area offers a breathtaking view of interconnected canals and small lagoons. Take a boat ride through the backwaters, passing through mangroves and coconut groves. In the evening, you may visit Mrs. Nimmy Paul’s home for a cooking demonstration followed by a homemade dinner in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, depart for Cochin. The rest of the day is free for last-minute sightseeing or shopping before transferring to Cochin Airport for your return flight.
