Your journey continues to the wild lagoons of Kumarakom, where you'll enjoy a homemade dinner and learn to cook Indian dishes in the home of a renowned local chef. Explore the town before embarking on a boat cruise through the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the most beautiful in the country, where you may catch glimpses of tigers and elephants (additional excursions or treks in the park available on request). Periyar is a true haven of peace, perfect for relaxing amid verdant hills covered in pepper and cardamom plantations. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, travel to Kumarakom. Visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, located on a peninsula jutting into the stunning Vembanad Lake. This area offers a breathtaking view of interconnected canals and small lagoons. Take a boat ride through the backwaters, passing through mangroves and coconut groves.
