La Rioja is a region geographically less extensive than the neighbouring regions and can quite easily cross within a few days, combining archaeology, culture and gastronomy. Ideal for a big weekend.

La Rioja concentrates the largest footprint of these enigmatic large animals. In the same area of preserved natural areas, a very interesting detour to the mirador del Buitre, which is dedicated to observation and protection of raptors.

These many and surprisingly well preserved religious buildings are emblematic elements of the material and spiritual heritage, including San Millan de Cogolla, Santo Domingo de la Calzada, or Najera.

For a bit of cultural enrichment, visit the wine station and the Haro Wine Museum, then follow the wine routes that are radiant around Logroño. Also provide a small tasting session.




Day 4 : Logroño



Before leaving the region, discover its capital, Logroño, where you can enjoy regional cuisine in the many tapas bars.
