Lunch in the district and the afternoon, visit the Cathedral and the Giralda, former minaret of the great mosque, as well as the Casa de Pilatos, the residence of the Dukes of Medinaceli. In the evening, good dinner in a tapas bar in the Centro or why not in the Alameda district.
Morning visit of the Arenal district and discovery of the Plaza de Toros where the arenas and the bullfighting museum are located. Lunch in the neighbourhood. In the afternoon, you can visit the churches, monasteries and the Basilica of Macarena. Then you can go shopping in Calle Sierpes, the shopping street, or head to the María Luisa Park (dating from the 1929 Exhibition) and take a detour to the Plaza de España. In the evening, direction Triana, a popular district with typical restaurants and good addresses for flamenco lovers.
Morning walk in one of the markets: Triana or Feria Street for food products, Plaza del Museo to see the art market. Lunch in a bodega before departure. If you have planned a 3-day weekend, you will have time to take a cruise on the Guadalquivir and visit the island of the Chartreuse, Isla de la Cartuja. Also worth discovering: the Andalusian Centre for Contemporary Art located in the monastery of La Cartuja.
Visit and walk in the university area: Avenues and San Fernando avenues; visit of the former tobacco factory and coffee break at the Alfonso XIII hotel. This less touristic neighborhood, but not necessarily calmer, will also allow you to see the Lope de Vega theatre and San Telmo Palace. In the evening, if you haven't seen flamenco yet, go to the spectacle of Casa de la Memoria, the Tablao del Arenal or Los Gallos.
A day trip to Itálica, 9 km from Seville on the Betic Road (a territory annexed to the Roman Empire between the 3rd and 5th centuries BC). There, very beautiful panorama on the plain of Guadalquivir. Lunch on site and afternoon devoted to the Roman road. Visit of the thermal baths, the amphitheatre and the theatre. Return to Seville at the end of the day.
The last two days will be devoted to discovering the Sierra Norte, to get some fresh air in the countryside, to go mountain biking or hiking. With a little more time, Carmona and the traditional villages of the Campiña de Sevilla offer themselves to a little itinerary in the middle of a landscape of cultures and nature...
Second day in the surroundings of Seville, or in the city to stroll while enjoying the southern and Mediterranean atmosphere of the Andalusian capital
