The city of Sydney is built on one of the most beautiful bays in the world. The main sights are located in close proximity to the city centre. Explore the historic districts of Darling Harbour and The Rocks to the Opera House, experience the excitement of Asian life in Chinatown and Haymarket and the fashion mecca of Paddington with its pretty Victorian-style houses.

Day 2 : Sydney and Opera House Visit

Half day in Sydney with English speaking guide.

Meet with your English speaking guide for a walk in the places that can only be discovered on foot: the historic Rocks district, the cradle of the Australian nation with its unique architecture and many fascinating stories. Explore the hidden walkways and hear its stories from the days of the settlers to today's Sydney. Your visit includes a tour inside the Opera House for a complete and unforgettable experience of this Australian landmark.

Day 3 : Sydney - Blue Mountain - Sydney

A day in the Blue Mountains with an English-speaking guide.
Discover the majestic World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains on a day trip in a small group from Sydney. Enjoy stunning views of the Blue Mountains and sites including the Three Sisters and the Jamison Valley. Lunch in the charming town of Leura and visit Featherdale Wildlife Park to see kangaroos, koalas and other typical Australian animals. Optional boat return to Sydney Harbour on the Parramatta River.

Day 4 : Sydney - Adelaide

Transfer to Sydney Airport and flights to Adelaide (not included). Pick up of your rental car at Adelaide airport.

Free end of the day in Adelaide. Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, stands out from other "big" Australian cities by its relaxed atmosphere and relaxed way of life.

Adelaide offers many cultural visits and activities. The city is dotted with museums that house an impressive number of works of art from Australia and around the world. It also has an important architectural heritage through its many 19th century buildings.

Day 5 : Adélaïde - Kangaroo Island

Depart with your vehicle for Cape Jervis, you will cross the Fleurieu Peninsula to reach the landing stage of the ferry to Kangaroo Island. You can stop at Pennington Bay, offering a magnificent view of the island. From here, you can head to Seal Bay, home to a colony of around 500 Australian sea lions.

Day 6 : Kangaroo Island

Discover Flinders Chase National Park today, a sanctuary for many endangered species such as platypus and koalas. You're also likely to see kangaroos, wallabies, fur seals and many species of birds. Continue on to Remarkable Rock, an impressive granite boulder shaped by erosion.

Day 7 : Kangaroo Island - Adélaïde

Back on the continent, you can discover the Mc Laren Vale wine region. The roads here take on a southern flavour, winding between vineyards and olive groves... The village of Hahndorf is worth a diversion, a former German colony and it keeps a certain heritage.

Day 8 : Adélaïde - Ayers Rock - Kings Canyon

Return to Adelaide Airport and flight to Ayers Rock (not included). Pick up of your rental vehicle at the airport for a 4x4 tour of the Red Centre.

Drive to Kings Canyon and its impressive Canyon.

Day 9 : Kings Canyon - Ayers Rock

Set off on a 3 hour hike to discover the sandstone canyons following the Rim Walk itinerary. This walk offers spectacular views. You will pass through Lost City and its sandstone formations, then through the Garden of Eden, a small oasis of greenery.

You'll be back on the road in time for the sunset on Uluru, a date not to be missed! The famous monolith then offers a gradation of incandescent reds.

Day 10 : Ayers Rock - Kata Tjuta - Ayers Rock

If you are early in the morning go and watch the sunrise over Uluru, which offers a very different spectacle from the sunset. Then go to Kata-Tjuta, another impressive geological formation. You can go on various hikes among the 36 domes.

Day 11 : Ayers Rock - Cairns

Visit the Aboriginal Cultural Centre where you can learn about the traditions of the Anangu people, the legends of the Dreamtime, their languages and Aboriginal history.

Drop off at Ayers Rock Airport, flight to Cairns (not included) and transfer to your hotel.

Free time in Cairns, a city with a tropical atmosphere and the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.

Day 12 : Cairns - Green Island

A boat will take you to Green Island, a paradise island in the Great Barrier Reef. A former coral island that has been transformed into an island of lush vegetation, Green Island promises you a complete change of scenery. During the 4 days, you will be able to explore the island through walks or glass bottom boat excursions, and cruises for diving or snorkelling!

You will discover the Great Barrier Reef via a day cruise allowing you to observe the richness of the seabed while diving or snorkelling.

You will have a last day for a bit of lazing around or enjoying the swimming pool, but you can also enjoy many water activities, such as windsurfing, canoeing or windsurfing.

After breakfast, you can take a boat to Cairns. A transfer will take you to Cairns Airport for connection with your return flight.
