Trip description

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Memphis Tours representative will meet you at Cairo International Airport. Then, transfer to the hotel by private air-conditioned vehicle. Overnight in Cairo.

2nd Day: Pyramids of Giza, Saqqarah and Memphis
After breakfast, your Memphis Tours representative will meet you at the reception of your hotel in Cairo and escort you by private, air-conditioned vehicle to the Giza Plateau, where you will discover the wonderful Pyramids of Cheops, Khafre and Menkaure, the enigmatic Sphinx and the Temple of the Valley, place of mummification, which faces it. After your lunch, you will head to Saqqara to visit the funeral complex and the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the first pyramid ever built.
A passage through Memphis, capital of the Old Empire, will allow you to discover its famous necropolis as well as the statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx.

3rd day: Old Cairo - Egyptian Museum
After breakfast at the hotel, your Memphis Tours representative will accompany you on the tour to the Old Cairo district and visit the Hanging Church where, according to legend, the Holy Family took refuge during their exile from Palestine. . Then discover the Abou Sirga Church, built on the site where the Holy Family is said to have rested.
 Visit of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, which presents the most important collection of antiquities from the Pharaonic period, such as Tutankhamun's treasury or the treasures of Tanis.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant
Return to the hotel.

4th Day: Luxor
In the morning, our representative will meet you at Cairo airport. Flight to Luxor.
On arrival at Luxor airport, you will discover, on the east bank of Luxor, the fabulous complex of the Temples of Karnak, the largest religious complex ever built, dedicated to the Theban triad with the god Amon at its head. Re. Its old name "Ipet-isut" means "the most sacred place". The temple complex was built over two thousand years ago by the pharaohs, generation after generation. Inside the complex, the formidable "hypostyle hall" is a majestic and mysterious forest of 137 giant columns.
You will then visit the imposing Temple of Luxor, the Temple of Amun.
Breakfast in a local restaurant.
Return to the hotel.

5th day: West Bank of Luxor
After your breakfast, you will visit the ancient necropolis of Thebes on the west bank. You will visit the Valley of the Kings, where 62 magnificent royal tombs were discovered, including that of Tutankhamun by Howard Carter in 1922. In the heart of the Theban mountains, these tombs were carved deep in the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures intended for the life after the death of the pharaohs. You will visit three tombs.
You will then visit the Temple of Queen Pharaoh Hatshepsut, in Deir el Bahari, which was built by the architects of the Queen's New Kingdom in the 15th century BC. You will also make a stop in front of the monumental statues of Amenhotep III, the Colossi of Memnon.
During the tours, lunch served at a local restaurant.
Overnight in Luxor
Free evening and night in Luxor.

6th day: Hurghada
After that, you will drive to Hurghada, by private, air-conditioned vehicle, for a journey of approximately 5 hours. Our representative will accompany you to your hotel.

From day 7 to day 9: Hurghada - Red Sea
Take advantage of free days to relax on the turquoise water beaches or to discover the many water activities in the region and the excursions offered by Memphis Tours.
Optional: diving in the Red Sea and discovery of magnificent corals and multicolored fish. Several other activities to choose from: windsurfing, sailing, fishing, snorkeling….

10th Day: Departure
Morning transfer to Hurghada International Airport for departure.
