• day 1:

  Arrivée à l'aéroport de Beyrouth, transfert à l'hôtel et nuit à Beyrouth.

• day 2:

  Beirut

  

  Visitez le splendide Musée Sursock dédié à l'art contemporain. Découvrez la scène artistique de Beyrouth : visitez les galeries d'art contemporain ou les boutiques de créateurs libanais dans les quartiers de Mar Mikhael et Gemmayzeh. In the afternoon, visit the National Museum of Beirut which houses a wonderful collection of archaeological artifacts from all over Lebanon, followed by a stop at “Hiraf Tourathia”, where a large collection of Lebanese handicrafts is displayed. Stop in front of the pigeon’s grotto on the Corniche, then walk through Beirut city center to discover the architecture of the French Mandate buildings, places of worship and archaeological remains. Overnight in Beirut.

• day 3:

  Ouzaï, Tire and Sidon

  

  Route vous see le sud du Liban via Ouzville , où des artistes de rue ont transformé le quartier défavorisé d'Ouzaï, situé au sud de la banlieue de Beyrouth, en un lieu riche en couleurs vives. Route de Tyr , la reine des mers de l'époque phénicienne, aujourd'hui cité riche en vestiges archéologiques racontant son passé glorieux. Sur le port visite de l'atelier Barbour qui fabrique encore des bateaux comme au temps des Phéniciens. When leaving Tyre, stop at the ‘Ateliers de Tyr’ where the ancestral know-how of the artisans is highlighted: blown glass, pottery... In Sidon, in the old town, visit the soap museum housed in a former soap factory, the carpenters and mattresses makers’ souk as well as the handicrafts shops and Debbaneh palace. Overnight in Beirut.

• day 4:

  Baalbeck and the Chouf

  

  Départ vous verrez la fertile vallée de la Bekaa. Visite de Baalbeck : le plus grand trésor romain du Liban, classé au patrimoine de l'UNESCO. Les temples romains les plus importants qui ont été construits, font également partie des parties les plus conservatrices dédiées à la triade héliopolitique. Drive to the Chouf Mountain: visit of Beiteddine palace, built in the 19th century with its ornaments and Ottoman-style woodwork. A stroll through the picturesque streets of Deir el Kamar, the city of emirs. Overnight in Byblos.

• day 5:

  Byblos, Alita, Tripoli and Qalamoun

  

  Le matin visite de Byblos , visite du site archéologique d'un site qui a habité le 6ème millionnaire ! De la vallée du Donis, à Alita, visitez le Musée d'art moderne et contemporain MACAM . Continuation to Tripoli, visit of the old souks, the Ezzeddine hammam, the soap khan, mosques and madrasas with the characteristic decor of Mamluk and Ottoman architecture. On the way back to Byblos, stop at a coppersmith workshop in Qalamoun. Overnight in Byblos.

• day 6:

  Diman, Gibran Museum, the Cedars and the Qadicha

  

  Visite de l'église du siège patriarcal maronite à Diman, avec son plafond peint par Saliba Doueihy. Visitez le musée Khalil Gibran et découvrez les peintures du plus célèbre peintre, poète, écrivain et essayiste du pays du cèdre. Petite randonnée dans la forêt des Cèdres du Seigneur et admirez les cèdres sculptés par Rudy Rahmé. In the holy valley of Qadicha, visit of the monastery of Saint Anthony Qozhaya, housing the first printing press in the Arab world in the 17th century. Overnight in Byblos.

• day 7:

  Free time and departure

  

  Transfert à l'aéroport de Beyrouth pour le départ.
