After Sweden, the United States, and Estonia, three new cities will host a Fotografiska museum this year. In Berlin, the museum dedicated to contemporary photography will be located in the Mitte district. In Shanghai, it will be in a former warehouse complex located on the waterfront where the museum can be discovered. Finally, in Miami at the end of the year, you can discover it in an industrial building in the Allapattah district.

The Gainsbourg House – Paris

Expected for over two years, the Gainsbourg house is finally set to open its doors this year, in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris. Visitors will be able to discover the singer's former home as well as an annex transformed into a museum. Designed by his daughter Charlotte Gainsbourg, this place can be explored through guided tours.

The Grand Egyptian Museum – Cairo

After 20 years of work and a budget of one billion euros, the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) will finally open its doors not far from the famous pyramids of Giza, in the Cairo region of Egypt. In this new museum, you can admire no less than 100,000 works spread over 24,000 m², with in addition the complete collection of Tutankhamun's treasure, consisting of 5,000 objects. It was uncovered in November 1922 by Howard Carter in the Valley of the Kings at Luxor.

This gallery has never opened its doors in 20 years, yet this year you can finally discover the magnificent collection it holds. Located on West 57th Street in Manhattan, it houses no less than $200 million worth of masterpieces by Matisse, Francis Bacon, Miró, Franz Kline, and Giacometti. Until today, one could read the rather ironic non-opening hours: "Monday: inaccessible. Tuesday: closed. Wednesday: no public opening. Thursday: closed. Friday: like the rest of the week. Rugby World Cup 2023 – France
