Travel by car to Popa, an extinct volcano, rises up for over 1,500 meters. Visit the popular pilgrimage site where locals gather to worship the spirits known as “nats”. You will climb up 777 steps and you will be greeted by beautiful views over the Myingyan Plain. Lunch. Relax at hotel pool. Sunset meditation session. Travel by road to Mandalay. Check in and embark at 16:00. The boat then slowly sails upstream towards the ancient city of Mingun. Yoga session at the sundeck and enjoy an aperitif on the upper deck and watch the sunset on the river. Enjoy your dinner of local tastes and flavors and spend the night onboard near Mingun. Morning meditation at sundeck. Awaken to the beautiful sight of the ancient temple of Mingun along with a traditional Burmese breakfast. Visit Mingun with Pondawphaya, Settawya, Pahtodawgyi pagodas and the legendary Mingun Bell, one of the largest intact ringing bells in the world. Around 11:00, back onboard and sail towards Ava. Lunch will be served while crusing along the Ayarwaddy. At 15:00, you will be able to visit the Island of Ava by horse cart, including stops at famous Bagaya Kyaung & Me Nu Oak Kyaung Monasteries. After a thrilling long day of visits, relax, while we navigate upstream to Sagaing for an exclusive BBQ Dinner on a sand beach facing the hilltops, dotted with white and gold pagodas.
