5-Day Merzouga Desert & Nomad Experience (Marrakech → Merzouga → Marrakech) Day 1: Marrakech → Ait Benhaddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley Depart from Marrakech and cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), offering breathtaking views of verdant valleys and traditional Berber villages. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a striking fortified village with impressive kasbahs. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara” and home to the renowned Atlas Film Studios. Journey through the captivating Valley of Roses and into the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and lush landscapes. Overnight stay at a charming guesthouse in the Dades Valley. --- Day 2: Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga Desert After breakfast, continue through the rugged landscapes toward the Merzouga Desert. Explore the breathtaking Todra Gorge, with its towering cliffs and cool river flowing through. Pass through traditional Berber villages as the landscape transforms from rocky canyons to the arid expanses of the Sahara.
